Sangria 71 Island Park

Sangria 71 is a family-style restaurant that specializes in the unique flavors of Spain, providing diners an incredible assortment of tapas, seafood, chicken, steak, and renowned paellas. The restaurant is operated by brothers Rosendo and Jose Fernández, who spent their early childhood surrounded by fresh produce, farm-raised animals, and the traditional recipes of their mother, Sofia, in the Spanish province of Galicia. They came to America at the ages of 5 and 6 when their father became the chef at El Rincon De España in Greenwich Village. Now, with decades of experience under their belts, the brothers Fernández are putting all their family has learned about combining fresh ingredients to prepare astounding Spanish dishes to good use, providing Long Islanders with an authentic taste of Spain that's sure to impress.
