Hello I am heavily considering this place, but there are no prices. Can someone let me know? Thank you!

I love the Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs. They must have a secret recipe as their short ribs are the best I have ever had. The only problem is that this place is often crowded making it very noisy.

If you like steak, then Jakes is the place to go. You will find the most tender and juicy steaks in all of Long Island. The staff is usually great, but of course, there are days when they are a bit slow. However, your steak will be perfect each and every time.

Jakes is my favorite steak house in Long Island. The other day, though the server was awful. I asked for medium well and when she brought my order, my steak was rare. It was not the chefs fault, but the server as she wrote down rare. Strange but anyway, they did my steak right and it was very good as usual.

I love the steaks at Jakes, however, my wife said she has had better seafood. We will come back for the steaks!

Jakes is a laid back steak house that serves upscale meals including the best steaks on Long Island. I enjoy coming here as I can come in jeans but have a meal that you would expect at the fanciest restaurant in town.

Jakes steaks are the best in Long Island, hands down. Even if you order your steak well done like I do, it will juicy and very tasty. The place is great with some of the best staff around.

Oh My! I just went to the beer garden at Jakes. It was really amazing. The draft beer and the Blue Point Oysters on the 1/2 shell were truly mouth watering. I will certainly come back and bring my friends next week.

I love Jakes! They serve a large variety of great treats. Everyone will find a favorite from streaks to chops to seafood. You can bring the entire family and each one will love the food. I bring my parents here every time they come to visit. We just love the service and the friendly faces.

All my friends rave about the steaks which are good, but I love all their seafood dishes. The service is very good and they always get the order right and you never have to ask for a refill.

I brought my girlfriend here, which is my fav steakhouse. I always order steak as they are the only place in Long Island that I can find that really knows how to cook a steak. My g/f had the pork chops and really enjoyed her entire meal.

I love steak and have tried several different steak houses in Long Island. I can honestly say that Jakes is the best place for a tender and juicy steak. The bar is an added touch. Great place!! Highly recommend.

There are few finer moments in life than the moment you bite into a piece of juicy, perfectly prepared steak. I've had a number of those moments eating at Jake's. I like my steak medium-rare, and I'm pretty particular about it. I want my steak juicy, but not quite bloody, and they do a great job here striking that balance. My wife on the other hand orders her steaks rare, and they really do come out very rare, and she loves them. I am sure they do equally well on medium-well and well-done orders.

I've eaten at both Jake's locations, and all I can say is that you'll be hard pressed to find a better steak anywhere on the island. I don't know which of the two wins as far as excellence is concerned. The food seemed pretty much identical at both of them. I think this one though - the East Meadow location - is probably the one I like the best, but most likely just because it is closer to where I reside and I've been able to eat here more often than at the other one, so I feel like I kind of know the waiters and the other staff members. Service is great at either restaurant though.

Jake’s is a wonderful steak house. Prices are pretty standard steak prices, dress is casual, atmosphere is pleasant. The steak always comes out exactly as I order it, medium rare, none of that “medium passing as medium rare” nonsense I am so used to putting up with at subpar steak restaurants. Desserts rock. Try the Frosted Devil’s Food Cake Donut.

I actually found this restaurant downtown the first time, in the Bronx. I thought it was great, and I went out of my way to eat there when I was downtown on many occasions. And then I finally found out that they had a Long Island location after months and months of doing this. What a happy discovery! (I know, my fault for not visiting their website in all that time, right?) Now it's just a short drive to enjoy my favorite steak in the world. This location is as good as the one downtown, and much more convenient for me to get to.

I have been to half a dozen steakhouses since moving to LI, and let me tell you, nothing beats this one. The atmosphere is really comfortable; you don't have to dress up here, though you can. It's fine dining, yet unpretentious. The steak fillets are amazing - I always order my steak rare, and here (unlike some places!) they understand that rare means rare. The steak is flavorful, juicy and tender. Melts in your mouth. The bar is also really nice. It's got a good atmosphere and they serve some tasty snacks and have a great drink menu.
