Shiatsu is an ancient type of Japanese physical treatment based on notions from traditional Chinese medicine including the concept of this'end' or'water' power flowing throughout the body. Shiatsu originates from a Japanese method called izumi no kane, meaning'finger pressure' This technique was designed around the nineteenth century during the Heian Dynasty in China.
