Nassau Authorities Seeking Two Suspects in Oceanside Costco Burglary

Oceanside, NY - December 29, 2017 - The Fourth Squad is investigating a Burglary that occurred in Oceanside on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at 10:57 pm.
 
According to detectives, Fourth Precinct police responded for an alarm that sounded at the Costco store that was located at 3705 Hampton Road after closing. Upon police arrival it was observed that a large jewelry show case had been pried open, with jewelry missing. Police searched the building but did not locate anyone inside.
 
A subsequent investigation revealed via store surveillance cameras that earlier an unknown man was observed prying open the jewelry case with an unknown object. He then removed the jewelry and loaded it into a blue bag. The subject fled out the store on foot leaving in an unknown direction. A second subject was also observed earlier with subject one walking around near the jewelry case. Subject two was also seen leaving the store on foot in an unknown direction.
 
Subject one is described as being male, white, 5’ 10 ‘’ – 6 ‘ 0” tall, slim build, full beard, and wearing all black clothes that included a Black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers.
 
Subject two is described as being male, white, 5’10” tall – 6’ tall, slim build, wearing all black clothes that included a black leather coat and a black wool hat.
