CANCELLED - Suffolk Police Issue Alert for Missing Brentwood Woman Suffering from Dementia

UPDATE - December 28, 2018 - Police report that Candida Encarnacion has been located, unharmed.

Brentwood, NY - December 28, 2018 - Suffolk County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Brentwood woman who suffers from dementia.
 
Candida Encarnacion, 47, was last seen at 14 Glenmore Ave. in Brentwood, on December 26, and left at some point overnight. Encarnacion is Hispanic, 5 feet 4 inches tall, approximately 115 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. She may be wearing a navy blue jacket and white converse sneakers. She speaks Spanish but may be non-verbal. She is believed to be on foot.
 
Anyone with information on Encarnacion’s location is asked to call 911 or the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
 
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
