Officials: Three Floral Park Men Caught with $25 Million in Counterfeit Merchandise

Floral Park, NY - December 28, 2017 - The Nassau County Asset Forfeiture Unit reports the arrest of three Floral Park men at 6:20am on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in Floral Park.
 
Nassau Detectives assigned to the JFK task force in conjunction with Homeland Security Investigators and U.S. Custom Border Protection Officers began an extensive six month long investigation into the importing of counterfeit watches, bags and accessories. The investigation led to the execution of three search warrants at a residence on Willis Avenue in Floral Park and Storage 1-2-3 located at 119 South 3rd Street New Hyde Park and an undisclosed rental property. The results yielded approximately $25 million dollars in counterfeit merchandise including Rolex, Burberry, Hublot, Gucci, Prada and Louis Vuitton. 
 
Arrested at their residence were Mahmood Nasir, 55, Ramish Nasir, 22 and Rubail Nasir, 18 all of Floral Park. Defendant Mahmood Nasir is charged with Counterfeiting 1st and 2nd Degrees. Defendants Ramish and Rubail Nasir are each charged with Counterfeiting 1st Degree and Conspiracy 4th Degree. They will be arraigned on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in First District Court 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
