Man Arrested for Endangering the Welfare of Children and Public Lewdness Near School Bus

Hewlett, NY - December 21, 2016 - Fourth Squad detectives report the arrest of a Uniondale man for Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Public Lewdness that occurred on December 21, 2016 at 8:00 am in Hewlett.

According to detectives, on Friday December 16, 2016 and December 20, 2016 Alcides Galdamez, 33 of Uniondale pulled alongside a school bus on Peninsula Boulevard and exposed himself to 2 juvenile females.  On December 21, 2016 the defendant was observed in his 2004 Ford Econoline van by detectives next to the bus, a car stop was initiated and the defendant was placed under arrest without incident.

Galdamez is charged with six (6) counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child,  six (6) counts of Public Lewdness and Unlicensed Operator.  He will be arraigned on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.
