Shirley, NY - December 22nd, 2014 - The William Floyd Elementary School Student Council has been busy sharing the holiday spirit by collecting toys for children in need as a part of the William Floyd Family Center’s "Project Toy."

Project Toy has collectively (thanks to the generosity of businesses and private Family Service League donors) has served more than 1,300 local children; and the Student Council also collected donated mittens, gloves, hats, scarves and socks for the school “Giving Tree” to help provide warmth for students in need.

Thanks to the students and their families for their generosity.
