Nassau County Police Investigating Assault/Attempted Robbery
Lakeview, NY - December 22, 2013 - The Fourth Squad is investigating an Assault/Attempted Robbery that occurred in Lakeview on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 12:15 A.M.
According to detectives, a 32 year old male was walking on Pinebrook Avenue in the vicinity of Pinebrook Court when he was approached by an unknown male black subject. The subject demanded the victim’s property and when the victim refused he was shot in the left hand and bicep. The subject fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was removed to an area hospital where he was admitted for non life threatening injuries. There were no proceeds and the subject is further described as 5’08” tall weighing approximately 200 pounds.
