Victoria’s Secret Donates Over 100 Pajamas For Local Homeless Women

Earlier this month, Victoria’s Secret corporation donated more than a hundred pajamas to Dress for Success Brookhaven to be distributed to women in homeless shelters located in Brookhaven Town.

 

“Pajamas are one of the most requested items in homeless shelters and Dress for Success Brookhaven has answered the call,” said Town Supervisor Ed Romaine. “Thanks to this generous donation by Victoria’s Secret corporate, many women who are in need will be more comfortable, especially during the winter months.”

 

According to its website, Dress for Success Brookhaven is an organization dedicated to help women achieve economic independence through a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
 

Established in 1999 with the support of the Town of Brookhaven, the Division of Women’s Services and more than 50 volunteers, Dress for Success Brookhaven has been instrumental in helping more than 6,000 women achieve their goal of becoming self-sufficient and economically independent.
