Roosevelt, NY - December 18, 2018 - First Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 6:25 pm in Roosevelt.
 
According to detectives, two male black subjects entered JNY Food Market, 124 Park Avenue, when one subject displayed a black handgun and ordered three store employees and one customer to the floor. After removing an undisclosed amount of cash from the register the store’s owner entered the Market. After a brief struggle both subjects exited the store and were last seen fleeing west on East Roosevelt Avenue.
 
The uninjured victims described the subjects as both being about 5’8” tall and approximately 18-24 years in age. One subject was wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans, light colored sneakers, a white backpack, a black mask and gloves. The other subject was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, dark sneakers, a black mask and gloves.
