NCPD are investigating a Serious Accident involving a pedestrian in Lawrence.

Lawrence, NY - December 18, 2018 - The Fourth Squad is investigating a Serious Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred in Lawrence on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 6:37 am.
 
According to detectives, an 81 year old male pedestrian was crossing Broadway from east to west in the vicinity of Frost Lane at which time he was struck by a 2016 Toyota being operated by a 30 year old male traveling north on Broadway. 
 
The pedestrian suffered a broken arm and severe head trauma. The victim was transported to a local hospital by Hatzolah ambulance for treatment. There were no injuries reported to the driver of the vehicle. A brake and safety test was performed on the vehicle at the scene. 
 
The investigation is ongoing.
