Islip Town Employees Donate Gifts to 60 Children From Salvation Army Angels Program

Written by Lon Cohen  |  16. December 2020

Employees from the Town of Islip gave to the 2020 Salvation Army Angel Tree Program, adopting 60 individual children to fulfill their wish list of toys, bicycles, dolls, clothing, games and more. Gifts were bundled, labeled and taken back to Salvation Army headquarters in Northport, where they’ll be distributed to families in need, according to a statement released by the Town.

“Each holiday season, our town staff are excited to select their angels, and I am always deeply moved by their continued generosity,” said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter. “This year more than ever, families need our help, and we’re ever so grateful to the Salvation Army for this opportunity.”
