West Sayville, NY - December 13, 2017 - Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone today visited Suffolk County’s newest cooperative project at the West Sayville Greenhouse. County Executive Bellone joined Legislator Kara Hahn and the Suffolk Association for Habilitation and Residential Care (AHRC) to meet the members of AHRC who maintain the greenhouse by growing, tending and selling plants.

The Suffolk Association for Habilitation and Residential Care serves children and adults with developmental disabilities by providing programs, services and opportunities for them to grow and contribute to society in meaningful ways. Currently AHRC serves more than 2,500 individuals across Suffolk County.
