Lighthouse Mission Puts Local School District on Its Christmas List
Bellport, NY - December 13, 2013 - Lighthouse Mission has adopted every family in need in the South Country School District. "We want to make a huge impact in the Bellport community by providing toys and gifts to all the parents who can't afford to buy them for their children," says Wendy Wood, executive director of the Mission.
The Mission expects up to 300 parents to attend the toy giveaway at 4 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at the Kramer Street Elementary School. However, the Mission is very short of middle school and high school age gifts for the program, which serves students in grades K through 12.
Can you help before the program takes place on Dec. 18? Please bring donations of new toys, gifts and gift cards ONLY to Lighthouse Mission at 1543 Montauk Hwy in Bellport on weekdays from 9 am to 4 pm or Saturday 10 am to 3 pm.
