Hicksville Man Arrested in Connection with Knifepoint Robberies of Two Local Area Stores

The Major Case Squad reports the arrest of a Hicksville man that occurred on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 6:00 AM in Hicksville for a multiple Robberies. 
 
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, two robberies in which a male subject was carrying a brown handled butcher knife occurred at the following dates and locations;
  • Bolla Mart, 620 Old Country Road, Hicksville on September 22, 2025
  • A&N Grocery, 151 Levittown Parkway, Hicksville on November 20, 2025 
Following a thorough investigation into the above incidents, Robbery Squad Detectives along with the assistance of the Bureau of Special Operations (BSO), Electronics Squad, Crime Scene and Eighth Squad detectives initiated a search warrant at 124 Acre Lane which resulted in defendant Bryan McMenamin, 50, of 124 Acre Lane being placed under arrest. Further investigation resulted in the butcher knife used in both incidents being recovered at scene.
 
Defendant Bryan McMenamin is charged with Robbery 1st degree, two counts of Menacing 2nd degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd degree and Robbery 1st degree. He was arraigned on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
