Vehicle Overturns, Driver Ejected, in Hicksville Two-Car Collision, Police Say
Hicksville, NY - December 10, 2018 - Second Squad detectives report the details of a serious auto accident that occurred on Saturday, December 7, 2018 at 11:20 pm in Hicksville.
According to detectives, a 2011 Honda Odyssey that was traveling southbound on Newbridge Road attempted to make a left turn onto Barter Lane when it was involved in a collision with a 2005 Cadillac Escalade that was traveling northbound on Newbridge Road.
As a result of the collision the Cadillac overturned causing the driver, who was alone in his car, to be ejected and sustain non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The driver of the Honda and his three occupants, including a rear seat passenger who was also ejected, sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
The investigation into this accident continues.
