Come and share in a North Fork holiday tradition when the Jamesport Meeting House Chorus presents Carols & Cookies on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 4 p.m. at the Jamesport Meeting House, 1590 Main Rd. in Jamesport.

A hallmark of the holiday season, this year’s concert features a fabulous lineup of songs to usher in the first day of winter; the hilarious Please Dont Sing Another Fa La La, followed by Once Upon a December from Anastasia, and the comical Theme from ElfLong Ago serves up a more introspective deep meditation about the holiday season which sets the mood for a lovely Schubert Impromptu, performed by outstanding accompanist Jeff Wentz.

Soloist Rusty Kransky will list his longings for fruitcake, elves, and glittery holiday cards in All Those Christmas Clichés. Enjoy hearing gypsy violin music in Celebration of Light, a lively Hanukkah song followed by Ale Pun, a traditional Spanish Christmas carol.

At the concerts end, enjoy a carol sing-along followed by cookies and cider.  It is the best way to get yourself in the mood for a happy holiday.  Admission is free. Donations gratefully accepted.
