NCPD & East Meadow FD Respond to Burger King Burglary

East Meadow, NY - December 9th, 2015 - The First Squad reports the details of a Burglary that occurred at 6:07am on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in East Meadow.

According to Detectives, Police Officers along with the East Meadow Fire Department responded to the Burger King located at 2450 Hempstead Turnpike. An unknown suspect used a torch to gain entry to the rear door. Once inside, the suspect attempted to gain entry to the store safe, again by using a torch.

The fire caused the store alarms to sound. The store was closed at the time of the Burglary and no proceeds were taken.  There is no description of the suspect at this time.
