Suffolk SPCA to Continue to Distribute Pet Food to the Needy

Hauppauge, NY - December 9, 2014 - The Suffolk County will continue distributing pet food for this holiday season from their office in Hauppauge on Wednesday, December 10th and Friday, December 12th from 10 am to 3 pm.

Roy Gross, Chief of the Suffolk County SPCA said "we recognize that there are families with pets who are in need of help and our purpose in doing this is to help them so their pets aren't hungry. We will also accept donations of unopened bags or cans of pet food from anyone who may wish to donate, Gross said.

Please call the SCSPCA office at 631-382-7722 if you have any questions.  You must show your social services card or food stamp eligibility to receive free pet food. (Offer available as long as supplies last.)
