SCPD Crime Alert: Suspect Wanted for Shooting Unarmed Man in Bay Shore Thanksgiving Morning

Bay Shore, NY - December 6th, 2013 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Homicide Section detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the person or persons responsible for the death of a man who was shot in Bay Shore last month.

On Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 28, 2013, at 5:35 a.m.,the body of Naim Isiah Al-Hakeem, 21, of Bay Shore, was found on Manatuck Boulevard, just north of Cedar Drive.  Al-Hakeem was riding his bicycle home after working the overnight shift at an Edgewood business when he was shot.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
