Centereach, NY - December 5, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives have arrested two women who stole pocketbooks and wallets from vehicles parked outside gyms in Centereach and Bay Shore.

Alexandra Salata and Christina Nicosia went to Planet Fitness, located on Middle Country Road in Centereach and Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore, several times between November 13 and December 1 and stole pocketbooks and wallets from vehicles. During the incidents, one of the women entered a gym locker room and stole car keys from unlocked lockers or coats. While inside, the woman walked toward the front of the gym and pushed the key fob as the woman outside located the vehicle.
