Nassau County PD: Suspect Wanted for Hempstead Dunkin Donuts Armed Robbery

Hempstead, NY - December 5th, 2013 - Third Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Hempstead on Wednesday, 12/04/13 at 7:40 P.M.

According to detectives, a male subject armed with a handgun, entered Dunkin Donuts located at 579 Peninsula Blvd. approached the cashier and demanded cash.  The victim complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.  The subject fled on foot westbound on Peninsula Blvd.  There were two other employees present in the store at the time of the robbery.

No injuries were reported.

The subject is described as a male black, 5’5” tall, wearing black clothing and a mask.  No further description is available.
