Moriches Bay Project Gift Giving Ideas for the Holidays That Give Back

Written by Long Island News & PR  |  04. December 2015

West Hampton, NY - December 3, 2015 - In the spirit of the holidays the Moriches Bay Project has a few "holiday favorite" gift giving ideas that give back to the bays.

Back By Popular Demand: Our Unique Gift Card
This gift will appeal to the environmentalist, young or old. You can give the gift of a cleaner bay by giving the gift of putting oysters in the bay. It's perfect for that special someone and it will help seed the bay.

This person is entitled to be a part of one of our oyster farm events where they can put his or her oysters in the bay themselves. They will learn from scientists the importance of oyster farming and how their gift will improve the water quality in our local bay.

You can purchase a gift card for 100 oysters ($10.00)  or 1000 oyster ($100.00) that will be planted in the name of card holder. It's great as a stocking stuffer, gift for teachers or business gifts. It shows the person in your life that you care about the conditions of the bay.

The card comes environmentally wrapped.  Email to order.
