Massapequa Cell Phone Store Robbed at Gunpoint, According to Authorities

Massapequa, NY - December 3, 2018 - The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Massapequa on Saturday, December 01, 2018 at 9:50 am.
 
According to Robbery Squad detectives, two unknown male subjects entered into the Sprint Store located at 5286 Sunrise Highway. Both subjects approached a 30 year old female employee and demanded cell phones while displaying a silver handgun. The subjects then removed and placed an undetermined amount of cell phones and US currency into bags and fled the store on foot. They were last observed running east through the parking lot towards Unqua Road.
 
Subjects one is described as being male, (unknown race), 5’2” tall, dark mask, dark hooded sweatshirt, silver handgun.
 
Subject two is described as being male, (unknown race), 5’7” tall, dark mask, dark hooded sweatshirt.
 
There were no injuries reported. There was one employee present and no customers.
