Suspect Wanted for Stealing Delivery Man's Cell Phone in East Northport

East Northport, NY - December 3rd 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole a cell phone from an East Northport store last month.

A man left his iPhone 4 on a shelf while making a delivery at Best Yet Market, located a 560 Larkfield Road, and it was stolen by a customer on October 13 at approximately 11:45 a.m. The customer, a man, was described as white, heavy-set and was wearing dark shorts, a dark-colored raincoat and a red baseball hat.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
