NCPD Crime Alert: Attempted Armed Robbery of Elmont Dunkin Donuts

Elmont, NY - December 3rd, 2013 - The Fourth Squad is investigating a Robbery (Attempt) that occurred on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 10:20 p.m. in Elmont.

According to detectives, a male black subject, 5’10” tall, medium build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, green sweatpants, and a red bandana over his face entered the Dunkin Donuts located at 238-19 Linden Boulevard. He displayed a handgun and demanded the money. The two female employees ran to the basement and waited for the police to arrive. The subject fled in an unknown direction without any proceeds. One victim suffered an injury to her knee when she fell while running. She was transported to an area hospital for treatment of her injury.
