Hicksville, NY - December 2, 2014 - The Public Information Office reports the details of an Unusual Incident that occurred at 2:30pm on Monday, December 01, 2014 in Hicksville.

According to Police, a distraught male was observed walking in the vicinity of Straw Lane with a gun pointed at his head. The male was apprehended without incident in a parking lot on Stewart Avenue and transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Two local schools were temporarily on lockdown for precautionary reasons only.
