Legislator Trotta and Family Volunteer at Nissequogue State Park Foundation’s Turkey Trot

Smithtown, NY - December 1st, 2014 - Suffolk County Legislator Robert Trotta volunteered at the 7th Annual Nissequogue River State Park Foundation’s 5K Run/Walk for the Park.

Legislator Trotta and his family have volunteered at this event since its inception – helping with parking, setting up, registration, refreshments and cleaning up. The Reichert Family of Fort Salonga and Bethpage Federal Credit Union were the major sponsors of the event.

Through the Reichert's, IGA of Fort Salonga and East Northport provided most of the refreshments. This year more than 1,400 people participated in the 5K Run/Walk.
