Hicksville Man Nabbed by Nassau Authorities for Burglarizing Jericho Bagel Store

Jericho, NY - November 30, 2017 - Second Squad detectives report the arrest of a Hicksville man for an incident that occurred on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 3:04 am in Jericho.
 
According to detectives, Asael Duran, 31, was observed on store video smashing the front door and entering Bagel Doctor, 289 N. Broadway. While inside the business, Duran took a total of approximately $750.00 cash from the stores register as well as a safe.
 
A subsequent investigation led to the identity and location of Duran and he was placed under arrest at his home on 11/29/2017 at 2:30 pm.
 
Duran is charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, Petit Larceny and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 11/30/2017.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
