NCPD Crime Alert: Suspect Wanted for Mineola Parking Lot Robbery

Mineola, NY - November 30th, 2013 -The Third Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on November 29, 2013 at 6:25 PM in Mineola.
 
According to detectives, a 42 year old female victim was placing items into her vehicle in the parking lot of 120 Mineola Boulevard, when she was approached by an unknown subject.  The subject displayed a knife and demanded property.  The victim complied and the subject fled the scene on foot towards Willis Avenue.  The victims purse was later recovered in the rear of 203 Willis Avenue, however an undetermined amount of US currency, and personal papers were not recovered.  The subject is described as a male hispanic wearing a mask over his face.  There were no reported injuries.
 
Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  All callers will remain anonymous.
