Senator Brooks Congratulates New Lindenhurst Eagle Scout
Sag Harbor, NY - November 28, 2017 - Senator John Brooks presented a congratulatory proclamation to Frank A. Smith Jr., on Sunday, November 26, as Smith ascended to the rank of Eagle Scout at his BSA Troop 1421 Eagle Scout Court of Honor in Lindenhurst.
The new Eagle Scout, who became a Boy Scouts of America Scout in September of 2009, has earned 40 Merit Badges in subjects ranging from American Heritage, Archaeology, and Environmental Science, to Space Exploration, Crime Prevention, Genealogy and Engineering.
Smith, Jr. was joined by family members including his father,Troop 1421 Scoutmaster, Frank A. Smith Sr., and his mother, and siblings.
Senator Brooks is the New York State Senator for the 8th District, representing portions of Nassau and Suffolk Counties along the South Shore of Long Island.
