Man Found Shot, Dead on North Bay Shore Street

Bay Shore, NY - November 28th, 2013 - Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was found lying on the street in North Bay Shore this morning.
 
Third Precinct officers responded to Manatuck Boulevard, just north of Cedar Drive, at 5:35 a.m. after a 911 caller reported a man lying on the street next to his bicycle. Naim Isiah Al-Hakeem, 21, of 55 Princeton St., Bay Shore, was pronounced dead by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. A preliminary examination determined Al-Hakeem had been shot.
 
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
