Suffolk Police Issue Alert for Missing Dix Hills Teen Who May be Suicidal

SCPD are seeking Gabrielle Abatantuno, 17, a missing teen from Dix Hills.

Dix Hills, NY - November 27, 2018 - The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Dix Hills teen who may be suicidal.
 
Gabrielle Abatantuno left her residence, a group home located at 43 Arista Drive, on November 26 at approximately 7 p.m. on foot.
 
Abatantuno, 17, is white, 4 feet 11 inches tall and approximately 175 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair and wears glasses. She was wearing an orange sweater, a dark-colored pea coat, black boots and dark jeans.
 
Anyone with information on Abatantuno’s location is asked to contact Second Squad detectives at 631-854-8252 or call 911.
 
Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
