NCPD: Hempstead Salvation Army Manager Discovers Decapitated Animals in Donation Bag

Hempstead, NY - November 27, 2018 - Third Squad Detectives are investigating an unusual/suspicious incident that was discovered on November 26, 2018 at 9:40AM in Hempstead.
 
According to detectives, a 62 year old male working as a manager at the Salvation Army on Front Street was unloading a truck. The male came across a large bag that contained an odor. Further investigation revealed a goat with a severed head and a decapitated chicken. The deceased animals were removed by Town of Hempstead Animal Control Division. The investigation is ongoing.
