Police Investigating Armed Mugging in Parking Lot of Hicksville Shopping Mall

Hicksville, NY - November 27, 2017 - Second Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Hicksville on Sunday, 11/26/17 at 5:35 P.M.
 
According to detectives, a male victim, 33, while walking from the Broadway Mall, was approached on James St./Sackett St., by three male subjects. The subjects knocked the victim to the ground, punched him and went through his pockets. Use of a gun was threatened but none displayed. The subjects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction, with the victim’s cell phone and wallet, containing cash.
 
No injuries were reported.
 
Subjects #1 and 2 are described as male blacks in their late teens, approximately 5’11” tall with thin builds, wearing a gray hooded sweat jacket and a white hooded sweat jacket.  Subject #2 is a male Hispanic, late teens, 5’10” tall, approximately 200 lbs. and wearing a gray hooded sweat jacket. No further description is available.
