Long Beach Mother & Son Busted for Selling Heroin

Long Beach, NY - November 27th, 2014 - The Narcotics/Vice Bureau reports two arrests for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 11:19 P.M. in Long Beach.
 
According to detectives, on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 4:25 P.M. Kelly Cavanagh, 53, and her son William Cavanagh, 22, of Shore Road, sold an undisclosed amount of heroin to an undercover agent at their home.
 
On Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 5:15 P.M. Kelly Cavanagh again sold an undisclosed amount of heroin to an undercover agent at their home. 
 
On Wednesday, November 26, 2014 both defendants were located by officers from the Bureau of Special Operations and placed under arrest without incident. They are charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree.  
 
Additionally Kelly Cavanagh is charged with a second count of both charges. They will be arraigned in Thursday, November 27, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead.
