The Big Duck Holiday Lighting Ceremony Set For Wednesday, November 30, 2016

Flanders, NY - November 16, 2016 - The Suffolk County Parks Department, in cooperation with the Town of Southampton Parks Department will host the annual Big Duck Holiday Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 7:00 pm. This year's festivities will include live entertainment including a duck carol sing-a-long led by the Riverhead Middle School Show Choir, a visit from the LI Ducks Mascot "Quackerjack", and of course the ever-anticipated arrival of Santa Claus courtesy of the Flanders Fire Department.

"The lighting of the Big Duck has become a tradition for Suffolk residents as an official kick-off for the holiday season," said Suffolk County Executive Steven Bellone.

The Big Duck Store will be open for the evening, so you can pick up some eggstra-special holiday gifts. The Big Duck is located on Route 24 in Flanders, one mile East of the Riverhead Traffic Circle.
