Suffolk Leg. Robert Trotta Conducts Winter Coat Drive

Smithtown, NY - November 22, 2016 - Suffolk County Legislator Robert Trotta is supporting the Retired Senior Volunteer Programs (RSVP) annual coat drive to benefit people using shelters and soup kitchens in Suffolk County. Gently used or new coats, jackets, hats, gloves and scarves for infants, children, teens, and adult men and women are being collected.

“During these hard economic times it is important that all of us help our fellow neighbor,” said Legislator Trotta. Donations of coats and other outerwear may be dropped off at Legislator Trotta’s district office at 59 Landing Avenue in Smithtown, from 9am - 4pm, Monday through Friday until December 29. Legislator Robert Trotta represents the 13th Legislative District, which includes Smithtown, Fort Salonga, Kings Park, San Remo, Nissequogue, Head of the Harbor, and St. James, as well as most of East Northport and parts of Northport and Commack.

Legislator Trotta serves on the Legislature’s Economic Development, Environment, Planning & Agriculture, Health, Public Works, Transportation & Energy, and Ways & Means Committees.
