4 Arrested at Holiday Craft Fair For Selling Counterfeit Goods

Hicksville, NY - November 22, 2015 - The Second Squad reports the arrests of four females for Trademark Counterfeiting that occurred on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:30 am in Hicksville.

According to detectives, Second Precinct officers were alerted that counterfeit goods were being sold by vendors at the Holiday Craft Fair located at Holy Trinity High School, 98 Cherry Lane.  Upon arrival officers found Fredda Zamchik, 63, of North Bellmore, Laurice McIsaacs, 68, of Rosedale, Veronica Barcia, 31, of Ozone Park and Diane Portillo, 34, of Cedarhurst working as vendors and in possession of assorted counterfeit designer merchandise.  The defendants were placed under arrest without incident.

Defendant Zamchik is charged with four (4) counts of Trademark Counterfeiting 2nd degree, defendant McIsaacs is charged with six (6) counts of Trademark Counterfeiting 2nd degree, defendants Barcia and Portillo are charged with seven (7) counts of Trademark Counterfeiting 2nd degree and one (1) count of Trademark Counterfeiting 3rd degree.  All the defendants will be arraigned on December 7, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
