Mastic Beach, NY - November 21, 2017 - The William Floyd High School Future Business Leaders of America recently raised $1,748 for breast cancer research in the 2017 Breast Cancer Walk at Suffolk County Community College in Riverhead.

More than 50 FBLA members along with their advisors Ms. Lee Cillo and Ms. Kristin Puric walked alongside cancer survivors, those battling breast cancer and their families and friends.

Students raised support for this worthwhile effort by obtaining walk sponsors as well as selling pink ribbons in the high school to students, faculty and staff. The ribbons were then displayed in the high school to promote the importance of breast cancer research and awareness, as well as a thank you to all who supported and donated in the effort.
