SCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for E. Patchogue Grocery Store Stabbing

East Patchogue, NY - November 21st, 2013 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the man who assaulted a male victim at a food store in East Patchogue last month.

On October 23, 2013 at approximately 9 p.m., an unknown Hispanic male approached a male victim at Plaza La Familia, located at 350 East Main Street, Patchogue. The suspect assaulted the victim with his hands and feet and then stabbed him with an unknown object.

The suspect is described as heavy set, with black hair that is short on both sides, and has a tattoo of barbed wire on his right bicep. He was wearing a white T-shirt and a white baseball cap.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
