Rockville Centre, NY - November 18, 2016 - Senator Todd Kaminsky has collected and delivered over 100 Thanksgiving turkeys to local organizations across the 9th Senate District.  Kaminsky has been accepting turkey and food donations from the community as part of his Thanksgiving Turkey/Food Drive. Donations have included turkeys, canned and dry goods, instant potatoes and gift cards.  Donations were generously provided by Stop and Shop, Key Food of Rockville Centre, Lana and Richard Tamaro, and scores of local residents.

“With Thanksgiving approaching, it is important to remember that there are local families who are unable to afford everything that goes into a traditional Thanksgiving meal," said Kaminsky. "We all have something to be thankful for, and with the community’s generosity, we have been able to provide our neighbors with a warm meal for the holiday.”
