Great Neck, NY - November 20th, 2013 - The Third Squad reports the arrest of a Woodmere man on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 4:45 p.m. for Forgery that occurred in Great Neck.

According to detectives, the female victim 59 years of age, of Great Neck purchased a term life insurance policy from the defendant Sheldon M. Bressler, 61 of 521 Allen Road, a sales agent for Mass Mutual Insurance Company, 48 South Service Road, Suite 400, Melville. Bressler then used the information obtained from the victim to open an additional whole life insurance policy in the victim’s name. The defendant responded to the Third Squad and was placed under arrest without incident.

Bressler is charged with two counts of Forgery 2nd degree, two counts of Identity Theft 1st degree, and two counts of Falsifying Business Records 1st degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday November 20, 2013 at First District Court in Hempstead.
