Nassau County PD: Uniondale Middle School Placed on Lockdown After Strange Threat Phoned In

Uniondale, NY - November 20th, 2013 - The First Squad is investigating an Unusual Incident that occurred in Uniondale on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 1:15 P.M.
 
According to detectives, an unknown male called the Turtle Hook Middle School at 975 Jerusalem Avenue stating the building should be evacuated and then hung up. The building was placed into lockdown while an extensive search was conducted by police and school personnel yielding negative results. Students were then released at the normal dismissal time. No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
