Anker Encourages Residents to “Shop Local”

Rocky Point, NY - November 18, 2013 - On Monday, November 18th, Legislator Sarah Anker joined the North Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce at the organization’s Pre-Holiday Networking Event. The event, themed A Taste of Rocky Point, took place at the Rocky Point VFW Hall and featured food and services donated by local restaurants and businesses. 
 
“I’d like to thank the North Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce for its dedication to our local businesses,” said Legislator Sarah Anker. “I’m proud to join the Chamber in embracing the spirit of Rocky Point and supporting our community. With the holidays approaching, I encourage residents to shop local and support the small businesses in our area.”
