The radio station in the  JVC Broadcasting group will be at Compare Foods in Patchogue on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22 to collect much-needed food items to support the Brookhaven Town INTERFACE Program.

Party 105, My Country 96.1, La Fiesta 98.5, LI News Radio 103.9 and Oldies 98.1 will all be at the shopping center from 10am to 6pm.

In a press release about the event, the Town of Brookhaven said that past events were very successful in raising donations. Suggested food items for donations are all non-perishables including, but not limited to: canned soups, canned cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, stuffing mix, instant potatoes, canned sweet or white potatoes, rice, canned vegetables, jar or canned sauce, macaroni, canned fruit, pudding, jello, cookie mix and icing and juice. Ten dollar gift cards to local supermarkets are also a good donation item so families in need can purchase a turkey for Thanksgiving.

INTERFACE is a partnership between individuals, good corporate neighbors and the Town of Brookhaven united in a common effort to provide help to Brookhaven's less fortunate residents. It provides goods and services to those in need and addresses social issues.
