Written by Lon Cohen  |  21. November 2021

With many tried and true Long Island bakeries closing their doors recently, it is a pleasant surprise to see Catalina's Bake Shop open its doors in Huntington recently.

The Latinix-owned shop features a menu of cookies ($3), cupcakes ($3-$3.50), full-sized cakes ($30-$40), and pies ($21-$24). They also serve Argentinian empanadas ($3) and breakfast including croissants ($4), apple and pecan danishes ($3.50) and blueberry, bran and corn muffins ($3.50), along with crumb cake ($3.50) and cinnamon rolls ($3.50).

On Yelp, Vivian R, from Huntington Station, had a great experience.

“I stopped in later in the afternoon and was happy to find beautifully decorated cupcakes that taste delicious,” she wrote. “I got the Carrot Cake, Oreo, and the Vanilla cupcakes & they were all delicious and definitely worth a trip. It's definitely a nice new Bake Shop that also serves coffee & tea. They have a counter with chairs in the event you want to eat there. I would definitely recommend this place.”

Location: 1155 E Jericho Turnpike, Huntington, (718) 801-0036.
