Nassau County Executive Pens Essay For New Yorker Magazine About Coronavirus

Nassau County Executive Laura Curran has been on the front lines of the Coronavirus pandemic since the very beginning, ever since the first Long Island patient was confirmed in Nassau County back in the beginning of March.

 

She reported on the numbers in her daily briefings during the peak of the infection here, sharing both the good news and the bad.

 

On November 16, 2020, The New Yorker published a personal essay by Curran, outlining her experience managing Nassau County through the pandemic, its effects, and a possible second wave.
