3 Men Arrested for Occupied Residential Burglary with Bats and Handgun

Center Moriches, NY - November 17, 2016 - Suffolk County Police have arrested three men after they burglarized an occupied residence in Center Moriches last night.
 
Three men, armed with baseball bats and a handgun, entered a residence through an unlocked garage at approximately 10:20 p.m. The men confronted the homeowners and stole jewelry, cash and a cell phone. A description of the suspects was broadcast over the police radio and Third Precinct officers arrested the three men in a 2016 Hyundai sedan on the Southern State Parkway in Bay Shore at 11:55 p.m.
 
The following were charged with Burglary 1st Degree:

  • Akim Adams, 26, who is undomiciled
  • Alexander Vaughn, 29, of Brooklyn
  • George Bidi, 19, of Brooklyn

All three are scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip today. The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the burglary to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
